Sinfonique !!

Finally, Sinfonique! Concert have finished. And my solos was stable. The worst part when playing a clarinet solo are SQUECKS....ARGH. Lots of improvement have to be made on the concert either on the management and the music standard. Was quite piss off on some stuff. But don't think wanna care if not pple say things. Pray hard that November Sinfonia would be better.

Left with 3 weeks in MSC and i can be free. I can't wait for 10/8/2007 as its our last day and MSC is gonna organise a chalet. Cool. After working for 6 weeks in MSC, expectation of us have gone higher and mistakes are not like suppose to be made. Were being banned from listening to music and wearing bermudas to work for backend. Haiz. Sometime really nothing to do and the room is so quiet. U jus feel like sleeping. Listening to some music at least it still keeps me awake. Anyway i find our batch of MSC Backend students very suai. Like we have to wear polo tee whereby last time can wear home clothes, our batch have to the stock count of cheers and that is next thur. Argh and so many lo like the above 2. Ban of music and bermudas.

TEP (Teaching Enterprise Project)

Whoops nearly 2 weeks haven been blogging already. Been busy with band. Tue, Wed, Thur, Sat and Sun all got practice sianzzz. But what to do concert coming soon and its comfirm on the 13/7. A friday and somemore is 13 - so here goes the Friday the 13 aka Bad Luck Day. Hope there is no bad luck on me.

So today topic of blogging will be TEP (Teaching Enterprise Project). My classmate like all blog abt this so i must follow the trend. If not no readership.

TEP is a module which last for 18 weeks and its the only polytechnic that offer this module. It offers many different stopover like the most shiong one - MSC (Marketing Service Centre), CSC (Call Service Centre) and the slack one are - EMRS (Event Management, Road Show), BSU (Biz Service Unit) and many more.

Very heng i got into MSC and got into the group of OPS (Operational Support) the administration team of MSC. Under MSC we have different outlets like Cheers, Giodarno, Fusion (IT shop), Value shop ( souniver of NYP and gift shop), Pretty Face (Cosmetic shop) and Friendz (Sell bad, socks etc. . but changing to unity which is a pharmacy).

So my job in OPS is so called to supervise the store. In charge of the invoice, attendance of all MSC Students, etc, so called the right n left arm of our supervisors. So need to know lots of things stockcard everythings. Haiz so many things to remember. The past weekday have been on training and learn quite a no. of things. Somemore my work place is jus beside the supervisors office. So cannot do stupid things.

Our batch of OPS also very suai. Have to where unifrom and have to do closing for a outlets and this will mean more jobs for us. Haiz. Think thats all i know abt this bah. Will blog more things abt TEP haha and i guess i will sure get scolding from supervisors. Since i'm so close to them.

Hi gonna blog lots of things today...

Last Sat went to Kim's B'day Party at Bukit Batok. Damn far from Pasir Ris but lucky got a few friends accompany me. Was also shocked to see Fahmi on the train too. :) Expected more pple to turned up for Kim's party but its still ok and we guys ended up chatting at the playground talking about TEP and etc.

After the party, we went to PS Starbucks to chill out and we ended up talking and talking and talking. Like its nv ending. Haha but still manage to leave at 1 am and the next destination is to Juleen House to TON...so she have a dog called Pepper and its was 2 am when we reached her house and her dog keep barking none stop but manage to tame her down...Haha so we ended up buying things from Cold Storage and cook Roti Prata and Hashbrown. Not bad delicious and at the mean time taking photos using Juleen's Macbook...here are the photos. :)

OMG is this ME!!!

So after all the photo taking session and supper we went to play game and chat. And i slept at 6 am when i need to wake up at 10 am the next day to accompany Valerie to New Creation Church. Not a bad church found somethings quite fresh that i nv see in other church that i've been.

Went to meet Miki at 1.30 pm for lunch and off to St Andrew School for Philyouth and the band room is very neat especially the store room. If NYP Band room were like theirs i don't mind coming everyday. :) But thats not the case.

So yesterday band practice was much better. It sounded so much better as compared to the previous practice. Hope they can maintain. However, still got quite a few sections giving problems. Don't wanna mention :x Hope they can wake up. Concert is approaching nearer day by day. Now is up to the members. Come for rehearsals and practice/Do nothing/Watever.

Anyway went to watch Pirates of Caribbean 3 and its nice however hate the Cinema...the seats like so cramp then after watching 3 hrs my whole back is aching..Anyway if u guys going to watch the movie remember to stay. As after the credit there is a small portion. Jus like the X MEN 3. Then when this female witch speak i dun understand what is she talking. The english sometime a little hard to understand and digest it. Hahaha

Still remember yesterday watch Pirates 1 and 2 till 4 am lo..Cos nv watch 1 and 2 before so chiong it...then can watch 3 and understand the story better...

NYP Concert with Bedok North like left 2 mths and the repertoire are quite diffcult. The band doesn't sound right also or i would say each individual players haven practice their own part so the band doesn't right. I got nothing to say but jus hope pple from NYPSO who is reading this could start practing and be more committed in attending either sectionals or combine prac.

Been with the year 1 for quite a few prac and the standard produce by them is not up to the standard as compare to my batch when we were year 1. Can see some of them like wanna play the hard part however they can't even master the easy one..they want to try something harder...U guys will say try harder is good so can train..But get the basic right before going to something extreme..Do things one at a time..and not jump from levels to levels..I also don't feel a sense of respect from this kids. Especially towards Laoshi. Scores couldn't find jus sit there do nothing and expect the seniors to feed. I jus hope this batch of kids can really work hard and improve fast within this 2 mths if not i don't know how to help already.. WAKE UP ALARM HAS SOUNDED...

Dance Alive!

Finally another major project for the NYPSO is accomplished and this will mean no practice for every night. YEAP !! However, there are still so many mini events to plan. For eg, Welcome Tea for the Freshies, Installation o7 (Some what like Band Investiture), Camps for the freshies, July concert and November Sinfonia 07. Its gonna be a busy, stressful and fun? year for me. Hope so :)

The performance was great. At least the Auditorium seats wasn't too empty. However, the muscial was too short. Haha !! Wanna post some pics. However i have no idea why i can't maybe post on the next entry or update on this entry.

Catch a movie called 200 Pounds of Beauty. In love with the song call Maria by Kim Ah Joong. Don't really like the actress who acted after the plastic surgey as she like always cry. See also piak chey. But she have to cried to show her feeling. But got one part touch me lo. Not bad pple reading my blog. I would encourage u to watch it.

Today met Kim Guan, Wee Siong, Meng Kiat and Qing Yang and we like suppose to chill out at a cafe but in the end they haven eat their dinner so went to pastamania and the NS Exhibition. Its nice at least i have a better knowledge and their marketing dept is like strong lo. With all the ideas..kudos...

Now have to continue with sch and studies. Its boring. And more test and project is coming up argh..

1 MORE DAY TO DANCE ALIVE 07 !!!

Ya its 1 more day to the Musical and problems are surfacing here and there. People have been affected by it all that I can do is to console them and tell them. Even though we only have 5 out of the 40 people in the class who want to play saboing game. We can still enjoyed ourselves even though they do not want to participate. However, if they see us having fun they will join in later.

So its alright. Like I always say, don't dwell upon the past look ahead for the future and think positively. SMILE !

Anyway below are just some of the rehearsal pictures. Sadly the concert is just for an hour expecting it to be like 1.5 hr plus. But it end so early.

Think i'm feeling much better as its useless to dwell upon somethings that has already pass.

Last Sat, went out with my clique to Orchard area for a gathering and chilling out session. Had our lunch at Lemongrass and its not bad should try. A soup, curry, chicken, egg, free flow of rice and drinks would cost $15.00 for each person.

After that went to find Yi Ling, who is working for OLAY at Wisma Watson. Met her for her lunch and she told us lots of her TEP experience at UOB Bank as a call center customer servier officers. Not bad and its interesting hope one of my stopover for Call center would be at SIA or UOB.

But i also wanna find a job as i need to save up money for lots of stuff like, driving license, a new bag, more t-shirts and bottoms, overseas trip like Hawail/LA, Holland and Graduation Holiday.

Went to Coffee Bean to chill out and joke around here and there and i hope friends can call me out for such chill out session like my poly friends below. Either at cafe drinking mocha or at pubs drink vodka orange. I don't mind jus inform me. Pple who are reading this jus tell me alright!

After meeting the girls was damn shag already. But i promise my friend to accompany him for pubbing/clubbing and i had to rush back home to change. Lucky still made it in time. And we chatted alot. I can't wait to be 18 when i can open in to the club proudly. :)

Anyway recently the band is going to perform in the NYP 15th Anniversary - Dancelive 2007. Pple who are interested to come and support and watch the musical contact me for tickets. School, SYF, CCAs..Argh Busy !!

School started jus yesterday and lesson is boring.

Last thursday, I went to watch SYF again. And heard the morning session band playing, so jus find some band are not bad and all the results are as wat i'm predicted. LYSB was in the afternoon and they got Bronze and i was expecting it. Anyway its good la, at least they maintain from 2005..so they are quite happy.

Anyway today band practice was shiok as clarinet was FULL STRENGTH..yeap!! So got alot of clarinet sound. Here are the photos.

SYF Day 1

Went down to catch the SYF Competition around 1045 am and manage to catch Hougang Sec Sch, not bad though and its obvious that they improve a lot..Kudos...after all watching and listening.

The band that impress me most are Yuhua, TKGS and Commonwealth. Especially Yuhua choice piece is like "WOW" and the visual effect is like very Japanese Band. When they breathe u can heard them. TKGS played Toccata in D Minor. Jus by heard the title is like "WOW" and after hearding it. I feel like i'm hearding a Symphony Orchestra and instead on a Wind Orchestra. So if i was the judge i will comfirm award a Gold Medal but not sure will i award GOH (Gold with Honour) after hearding Yuhua.

So after the AM session went to Lao Pa Sau to have lunch with Hui Min, Samuel, Jolene and Dororin. And i went back myself to catch the 1st half of the PM session and met quite a few familiar faces.

The first band was started of by SAC (St Anthony Cannosian). Not bad playing. Nice brass sound. I will award them a Silver. However, when i knew abt their results was quite shock that they was awarded a Bronze instead. Think the girls are damn sad. But nvm its alright. Its a learning journey. Jus do better next time. Anyway, why am i so care abt SAC cos i am helping the Clarinet Section. So ya that will explained.

So in the end of the Day 1 Session only 5 Golds, 6 Silvers, 12 Bronzes and 1 COP Band. Think standard for this year judging has really gone up. Last time is lots of Silver Band now is Bronze..All the best to Loyang...Tue, Thur and Sat i have to go back...Sian -.-"

Think thats all abt SYF. So in the eveing have to rush down to NYP for the sch rehearsal of their 15th Anniversary Musical!

Everything was so messy, its all abt moving here and there..I jus can't stand it when u need the whole band to move and the management thinks like we got lots of energy..why can't they call 老师 to ask whats the band seating arrangement going to be like so it save the hassle of moving During the actual rehearsal. Hope the management learn a lesson. And seriously, the Ps should apologise to us and not the Student Affairs officers incharge....

Now very tired after a whole day of BAND and there is still more to come for this and next week -.-"

Gonna blog abt what happen yesterday.

After i came back from my Orchestra practice. I could not enter my house as the wooden door is lock and i only have the metal door key. So in the end called my parents and they like will be back in 1 hr +. Tot of going over my friend house or ask them out for a cup of coffee.

However, upon calling one of my friend. Found out that my friend's mum jus passed away and i was shock. So i ask him do he need us to accompany him through this diff period. Its better to ask anyway cos some pple like to keep it quiet and some really need friends support.

So at night we went over to attend the wake and quite a few of us turn up. Not bad. At least we are real friend who is always there for our friend. Anyway i hope he will be feeling alright.

Today is another boring day at home. Actually got a few things to do. Maybe i can list down so i can use my blog as a reference. Hehe :)

Its been nearly 2 months since i've last blog. Been busy with my final year examination for my year 1 in poly and my result have deproved by 0.2 for GPA.

An upcoming performances that i', preparing is for the NYP 15th Anniversary Dance Musical ! Which falls on the 27 and 28 April 2007. If u are interested pls do inform me and i'll try to get a ticket for u. However, i'm not sure whether payment for the tickets is needed.

Damn suay also as i had to do TEP (Teaching Enteprise Project) for the next sememster. So when u guys visit NYP u may see me working in the Shopping Arcarde like Cheers or Giodanio..Sian -.- But if i got a Grade A for this TEP. I will achieve a GPA of 4.0 for that semester and it will pull my overall GPA up. So all the best man!!!

Anyway is good friday and i'm like not feeling good. Cos all the plan like in the end all change. Suppose to go out in the end stay home, playing table tennis and slack for the whole day. Argh. Tml will also be boring, after orchestra practice then go home and stone. Sunday even worst, no program at all..Then next week so busy..bull shit la..

Anyway no mood to continue liao. I JUS WANT TO GET OUT OF HOME.

Friday Night is another clubbing event with Valerie and Kaydence, so we went Clarke Quay to see if JY working. But he was not working there so since its like 10+ pm we decide to work around and we saw a few celebrities and they are Tay Ping Hui, Mark Zee, Julian Hee, Jamie Yeo with her husband, etc...think there is a event bah...

Now back to the sch work and now i left with 2 projects one is to be completed within 5 days and my team like only done 30% and another project with is due in 11 days haven even started OMG...this is going crazy...Think this is goanna be the worst period of project seasons and i think i will expect it more to comes in future years....

Finally after 2 years i have finally change my handphone...yeap...hahaha

Happy New Year 2007 !!!

Firstly, going to blog for the happenings on my B'day. After, my B'day eve celebration with Elieen their, went home alone and on the way called a few of my sec sch classmates asking them whether are they free yesterday to meet up for lunch and some mini gathering.

However, this are the answers that some of them provided for me:

I haven't finish my homework.
I working
I having exam. U want me to fail is it.

But the problem is, i not asking u all to accompany for the whole day from afternoon to night. Jus afternoon jus need 2 hours of your time. But u guys jus can't. Are u guys my true friend. Or just making use of me. Haiz!!

So in the end the ture friends that really celebrated with me is Katherine, Choon Chyuan and Jocelyn and we have a great time chilling out together..Thanks for accompanying me.

After that, went to Marina for countdown and it started raining for 30 mins since 1030 lucky i brought my Umbrella. ..and the Fireworks was great as usual. Haha!!

Went to club again after the firework display and had fun till 4,5 am so waited for the 1st train and reach home at 7 am. Somemore its my very first time to be home in the morning..Haha and wake up today at 4 pm and been doing photoshopping for the whole afternoon and posting and blogging of pics till..now...Haha..

Going to do my stats tutorial then tmr going to do my Effective Writing Project..

So as i've said on my X'mas entry that i'm going to have my Reflections and Resolutions written down...Haha

Reflections

Acheive good results to for O Level
At least manage to enter poly. However, didn't get to what i really want and that is NP Banking & Finance or Accountancy
Got to perform at Esplanade for 2 times in a year
Got to perform at S'pore Conference Hall 2 times in a year
1st time performing with NYPSO
Gotten my 1st official job Haagan Dazs, but ended and left in a sad ending.
Orgainise class chalet but don't thing both are good...sadly
Met new friends in poly but something happen jus a few mths ago.

In conclusion, i have a fun and exciting time for the 1st half of the year, but it ended in a very trouble and unsettle stuff on the 2nd half of the year.

Resolutions

I wish i have a few TRUE friend who can always be there for me, when my B'day come they will seat down and dine with me in a cafe and sing B'day Songs and will initiate outings. Instead of me asking.
On my 18th B'day, i want to enter either MOS/Zouk.
Improve in my playing
Do well for my Exam

Think thats all...cos this are the only one that i can thought of..and i really want to accomplish my 1st Resolutions..anyone out there who can help?
